This belly ring is 14 gauge and is made from uv acrylic. This is a flexible barbell w/a larger ball on the bottom that measures 7.96mm and a smaller ball on the top that measures 5.10mm. You can use this 14-gauge piece of jewelry as a belly/navel ring or as a nipple ring if you prefer a curved ball. I also have other 5mm round balls if you want to buy replacements so you can have 2 of the same size ball for something like a nipple piercing.
This design is orange and white checkerboard looking design. The barbell is pink.
All my body jewelry is nickel, lead, and latex free. I personally am allergic to nickel and latex, so I cannot even handle jewelry with those properties in it.
This body jewelry is black light reactive. Do not soak in Alcohol as it dissolves the "plastic” This is a wipe and go type sanitization process. If you are wearing clothing that rubs, these types of belly rings are great, so they don't hurt as much when they snag, but they are also flexible, nothing like getting your belt buckle stuck on your belly ring, it sure does hurt.
**Some acrylic jewelry has ultra-violet properties ('UV Acrylic') - this makes the color jump to life when exposed to ultra-violet light. The versatility of acrylic allows for some great looks to be achieved. Acrylic contains microscopic pores which makes it unsuitable for new, unhealed, and troublesome piercings.
**Acrylic has not been proven safe to wear for any extended period of time, especially in the mouth, mucous membrane, or genitals. The main problem with acrylic is that body temperature causes it to degrade and release monomer vapors, which are as toxic as carbon monoxide. Ethyl acetate is a carcinogen.
